We all know what blockchain is right? If not, Google it. It’s the technology behind Bitcoin. However, it has many uses beyond that. From hospitals, agriculture, energy and more, this technology is set to change the world. But more importantly, it has a unique advantage in the education system and everyone from autistic students to college professors will enjoy the benefits.
AUTISTIC STUDENTS SAY GOODBYE TO PAPER AND HELLO TO BLOCKCHAIN
Everyone loves the day they graduate and receive that thick, paper diploma. You put it on your wall and brag about it to your friend. Yes, I said friend. Not friends. Anyway, the whole point here is there is a problem.A problem with paper diplomas. People make fake certificates all the time in order to qualify for certain jobs. Hence, storing diplomas on the blockchain allows for a more streamlined authentication process for employers. It’s foolproof.
BLOCKCHAIN TO HELP AUTISTIC STUDENTS WITH GLOBAL ASSESSMENT
The current certification system is old and outdated. Paper is easy to lose and even easier to manipulate. Furthermore, more students and workers alike improve their technology skills, fake certificates will be the new normal. Ok, maybe not the new normal but definitely more common. Hence, we need a certified database for all forms of identification, certification, and achievements. Hence, this opens up the doors for disadvantaged workers like autistic people who couldn’t compete with the new wave of refugees that provide with false information.
BLOCKCHAIN WILL DESTROY UNIVERSITIES FOR AUTISTIC STUDENTS
Some autistic students have a hard time getting into college. Especially in the U.S. here getting in is more about who you know than what you know. However, some say blockchain could open the gates for a “no university world.” What does that even mean?
Think about ti. Well-respected teachers could verify that students have passed online modules. This allows students to completely bypass the need for the university. They can go right to the source! Imagine if you took a course on astrophysics by Neil DeGrasse Tyson and he could verify it? Autistic or not, that’s just plain cool. Furthermore, students won’t go into debt. No debt means no financial crisis for the country. No financial crisis means a better life for folks like you and me. Doesn’t that sound too good to be true? Let’s hope it’s not.
